Primary scores in physics. Converting exam scores in mathematics. Distribution of points for each USE task in physics

Unified exam implements a knowledge competition nationwide. The smartest people get the maximum points and 100 points. To evaluate all other exam participants, theories were built, graphs and distributions were drawn. This is a very fruitful and interesting topic.

This section will cover scaling, theoretical basis assessments in the Unified State Examination. All information is presented in an accessible form, and tabular data is taken from official websites. We apologize in advance for the fact that the inserted pictures and materials sometimes contain errors from the original source; we will not correct them, respecting the copyright and other rights of the original sources.

We will pay the greatest attention to practical advice and recommendations. The exam can be passed with a score higher than “an average student with this level of knowledge.” “How to do this?”, “Why will these techniques work?” - you will see this for yourself.

Scaling

At conducting the Unified State Exam The exam involves many graduates from different educational institutions. They have completely different levels of training: from Olympiad winners to “C” students. In this regard, the question arises: how to objectively assess and, most importantly, compare the level of their preparedness, since all graduates have equal rights when passing final exams and when entering a university or secondary school?

Scaling is a translation procedure primary points to test ones.

It is necessary to understand the difference between the concepts of “primary score” and “test score”.

The primary score is the preliminary USE score, which is obtained by directly summing the number of correct answers, each of which has a certain coefficient. Primary score for different items, usually different. For example, in mathematics it is 30, and in Russian - 64

Test score– this is the final score that a Unified State Examination participant receives based on the exam results. Maximum test score for to all subjects - 100.

Each completed Unified State Exam task is assessed with a number of points from 1 to 6. The sum of these points constitutes the primary score exam paper.

Here is a table in which you will see how many primary points are awarded and for what tasks:

Next, a correspondence is established between the primary and test scores. The scale for converting primary scores into test scores is constructed using special technique taking into account the properties of the control measuring materials by subject.

Obviously, this scale preserves the ordering of individual results, that is, a larger primary score will correspond to a larger test score, and equal primary scores will correspond to equal test scores.

A feature of the translation scale is that the change in test score when the primary score changes depends on total primary points. This change will be slightly larger if the participant received either a small primary score or, conversely, a fairly high one. Moreover, the boundaries of the intervals at which these differences appear are published in advance in the specified methodology. Within the intervals themselves, the change in test score when the primary score changes will be almost constant (fluctuations of 1 point can only occur due to the fact that the number test scores on the interval is not a multiple of the number of primary ones).

It is important to remember that the test score is NOT the percentage of tasks completed correctly.

Here is a table of the correspondence between the primary and test scores on the Unified State Exam according to mathematics 2011:

2018-2019 academic year will be a graduation ceremony for many Russian schoolchildren, who are already concerned about the issues of successfully passing the Unified State Exam and successful admission to a good university.

We will tell you how exam papers are checked in different subjects, how the scale for converting Unified State Exam points into grades works, and what innovations you can expect in 2019.

Principles for assessing USE work in 2019

Over the course of several recent years Unified State Exam system in a number of subjects has undergone significant changes and has been brought to an optimal (in the opinion of the organizers) format, which makes it possible to fully assess the volume of knowledge of a graduate in a particular subject.

In 2018-2019, no fundamental changes are expected and it is safe to say that the same principles as in 2017-2018 will be applied to evaluate the work of graduates:

  1. automated verification of forms;
  2. involving experts in checking tasks with detailed answers.

How does a computer evaluate?

The first part of the examination paper involves a short answer to the questions posed, which the Unified State Examination participant must enter on a special answer form.

Important! Before starting work, be sure to read the rules for filling out the form, as incorrectly completed work will not pass the automated check.

Dispute the result computer check pretty hard. If the work was not counted due to the fault of a participant who filled out the form incorrectly, the result is considered unsatisfactory.

How do experts rate it?

In many subjects, in addition to the test part, there are tasks that require a full, detailed answer. Since it is impossible to automate the process of checking such answers, experts are involved in the verification - experienced teachers with extensive work experience.

Checking Unified State Exam teacher does not know (and even with a strong desire cannot find out) whose work lies in front of him and in what city (region) it was written. Testing is carried out on the basis of uniform assessment criteria developed specifically for each subject. Each work is checked by two experts. If the experts’ opinions coincide, the assessment is put on the form, but if independent appraisers disagree, then a third expert is involved in the verification, whose opinion will be decisive.

That is why it is important to write legibly and accurately so that there is no ambiguous interpretation of words and phrases.

Primary and test scores

Based on the test results, the Unified State Exam participant is awarded a certain number of primary points, which are then converted into text points (points for the entire test). Different subjects have different maximum primary points, depending on the number of tasks. But after giving the result according to the appropriate table, the Unified State Examination participant receives a final test score, which is the official result of his final tests (maximum 100 points).

So, in order to pass the exam, it is enough to achieve the established minimum threshold of the primary score:

Based on these numbers, you can accurately understand that the exam has been passed. But what grade? The 2018 online scale will help you with this, designed specifically for converting primary Unified State Exam scores into test scores, which will also be relevant for the 2019 results. A convenient calculator can be found on the website 4ege.ru.

Announcement of official results

Graduates are always concerned with the question of how quickly they can find out what result was obtained during the test and what the scale for converting the points scored on the Unified State Exam into traditional grades will be in 2019.

Teachers often take it upon themselves to reassure students by working through the tasks of the Unified State Exam tickets immediately after the exam and assessing the quality of the students’ work and the amount of initial points scored. Official results must be waited for 8-14 days, according to the established regulations for the Unified State Exam 2019. On average, organizers approve the following inspection schedules:

  • 3 days to check the work;
  • 5-6 days for processing information at the federal level;
  • 1 working day for approval of the results of the State Examination;
  • 3 days to post results online and transfer data to educational establishments.

In the event of unforeseen situations and technical problems, these deadlines may be revised.

You can find out your owl score:

  • directly at your school;
  • on the portal check.ege.edu.ru;
  • on the website gosuslugi.ru.

Converting points to grades

Since 2009, Unified State Examination results are not included in the graduate certificate. Therefore, today there is no official state system for converting the Unified State Examination result into a grade on a school 5-point scale. As part of the entrance campaign, the test score obtained in the exam is always summed up and taken into account. But many students are still interested in finding out how they passed the exam - 3 or 4, 4 or 5. For this, there is a special table that details the correspondence for each of the 100 points in each subject.

Using such a table is quite inconvenient. It is much easier to find out how you passed the Russian language, mathematics or history by using the online calculator 4ege.ru, which also contains a scale for converting Unified State Exam scores, which is relevant for graduates of 2019.

Having received the Unified State Exam result, you should decide on a university as quickly as possible, comparing your capabilities with the real competition for the specialties you are interested in. Thus, the practice of past years shows that in some cases it is difficult to get into the most popular areas in the capital’s universities even with high scores, because not only holders of 100-point scores will compete for places Unified State Exam results, and also winners of the largest Olympiads of the 2018-2019 academic year.

After checking the Unified State Exam tasks in mathematics, a primary score is assigned for their completion:

  • For basic level in mathematics – from 0 to 20;
  • For a specialized level in mathematics – from 0 to 30.

Each task is worth a certain number of points: the more difficult the task, the more points you can get for it. For correct completion of each task in the Unified State Examination in basic level mathematics, 1 point is given. For correct completion of tasks in the Unified State Examination in mathematics at a specialized level, 1 to 4 points are given depending on the complexity of the task.

After this, the primary score is converted into a test score, which is indicated in Unified State Examination certificate. This score is used for admission to higher education institutions. Transfer of Unified State Examination points carried out using a special point scale. The Unified State Exam score in basic level mathematics is not needed for admission, so it is not converted into a test score and is not indicated on the Unified State Exam certificate.

Also, based on the Unified State Exam score, you can determine the approximate grade on a five-point scale that a student would receive for completing tasks in the exam.

Below is scale for converting Unified State Exam scores in mathematics for basic and specialized levels: primary scores, test scores and approximate assessment.

Below is a scale for converting primary scores of the profile Unified State Examination in mathematics in 2019:

  • The initial score obtained is transferred to the test score. Each task in the test part is worth 1 point. Writing tasks - from 2 to 4 points
  • To pass the threshold along profile Unified State Examination you need to solve at least 6 problems, that is, score 6 primary or 27 test points.

Moreover, you can notice that the first part is very “expensive” in terms of points; for one task in the first part you can get 1 raw point, which is recoded into 5 or 6 test points!

  • If you solve all the problems in the first part correctly, you can type 62 points.
  • If you solve the entire first part, numbers 13, 15 and 17 (most often these are the numbers that are solved by those who have a solid “5” in school), then you can dial 80 points.

  • Further points can be taken in geometry (No. 14, 16), parameters (No. 18) or number theory (No. 19). If you solved, for example, No. 14, took a couple of points on No. 19, solving a) and b) - this is already 88 points.
  • So to dial above 80 points you need to be able to solve problems on at least one of these topics or several:

- options,

- planimetry,

- stereometry,

For example, you solved 12 problems, but made a mistake in one, as a result you get 11 primary and 56 test points, but could get 62 points (!), if they hadn’t made a mistake in some number, it could have even been the simplest number 1. If you make a mistake again, you will get 50 points for the first part. A point for the simplest task No. 1 “weighs” the same as one point for complex planimetry No. 16; the computer doesn’t care where you scored it. The main strategy is to be careful in the first part.

Exam plan Unified State Examination work mathematics

The duration of the work is 3 hours 55 minutes. If you plan to complete tasks of a high level of complexity numbered 18-19, then the first part No. 1-12 should take you no more than 30 minutes.

Good luck to everyone on the exam!

In some tasks there are several right decisions, due to which different interpretations of the correct completion of the task are possible. Don't be afraid to appeal if you think your score was calculated incorrectly.

Check out general information about the exam and start preparing. Compared to last year, the KIM Unified State Exam 2019 has changed somewhat.

Unified State Examination

Last year, to pass the Unified State Exam in Physics with at least a C, it was enough to score 36 primary points. They were given, for example, for correctly completing the first 10 tasks of the test.

It is not yet known exactly what will happen in 2019: we need to wait for the official order from Rosobrnadzor on the correspondence of primary and test scores. Most likely it will appear in December. Considering that the maximum primary score has increased from 50 to 52, it is very likely that the minimum score may change slightly.

In the meantime, you can focus on these tables:

Structure of the Unified State Exam

In 2019, the Unified State Examination test in physics consists of two parts. Task No. 24 on knowledge of astrophysics was added to the first part. Because of this total number The number of tasks in the test increased to 32.

  • Part 1: 24 tasks (1–24) with a short answer that is a number (integer or decimal) or a sequence of numbers.
  • Part 2: 7 tasks (25–32) with a detailed answer, in them you need to describe in detail the entire progress of the task.
