Psychologists and practicing teachers note that older preschoolers often have speech impairments, a poor vocabulary, children do not know how to compose a story from a picture, retell what they read, and it is difficult for them to learn a poem by heart.

Compiling a syncwine is one way to partially solve these problems.

Sinkwine is often used by modern teachers for kindergarten classes. Already at preschool age, you can teach children to compose syncwine in the form of a game.

Cinquain is a French word that means “poem of five lines.”

The cinquain form was developed by the American poet Adelaide Crapsey.

A cinquain is not an ordinary poem, but a poem written in accordance with certain rules.

Relatively recently, teachers began to use syncwine to enhance cognitive activity and began to use it as a method of speech development.

To compose a syncwine, you need to learn to find the main elements in the text, in the material, draw conclusions and conclusions, express your opinion, analyze, generalize, isolate, combine and briefly present.

We can say that this is a flight of thought, free mini-creativity, subject to certain rules.

Currently, there are the following types of syncwine:

Traditional

A form of poetry consisting of five lines and based on counting the syllables in each line. Its structure looks like this: 2-4-6-8-2. That is, the first line should contain a word or phrase of two syllables, the second - of four, the third - of six, and so on. Traditional cinquain can be either rhymed or not.

Back

Five-line form with only reverse sequence of verses. That is, in the first line there is a word or phrase of two syllables, in the second - of eight, the third - of six, etc. The structure is: 2-8-6-4-2.

Mirror

A poetic form of two five-line stanzas, where the first stanza is traditional cinquain, and the second is the opposite.

Cinquain butterfly

A form of poem consisting of nine lines with a syllabic structure

2-4-6-8-2-8-6-4-2.

Crown of cinquains

A completed poem consisting of five traditional syncwines

Garland of cinquains

The most beautiful variation, in our opinion. It consists of a crown of syncwine with the addition of a sixth syncwine, the first line of which is taken from the first, the second from the second, the third from the third syncwine, etc.

Didactic

Unlike previous types, in this five-line form the text is not based on syllabic dependence, but on the semantic and syntactic specification for each line.

The first line of a syncwine is a title, a topic, consisting of one word (usually a noun meaning the object or action in question).

The second line is two words. Adjectives. This is a description of the characteristics of an object or its properties, revealing the theme of syncwine.

The third line usually consists of three verbs or gerunds describing the actions of an object.

The fourth line is a phrase or sentence consisting of several words that reflect the personal attitude of the author of the syncwine to what is said in the text.

The fifth line is the last. One word is a noun to express one’s feelings, associations associated with the subject discussed in the syncwine, that is, it is the author’s personal expression on the topic or a repetition of the essence, a synonym.

1. Watermelon

2. Round, delicious

3. Rolls, grows, matures

4. Watermelon is a large berry.

5. Summer

Cinquain is one of the effective methods speech development of preschoolers

What is its effectiveness and significance?

Firstly, its simplicity. Anyone can make a cinquain.

Secondly, in composing a syncwine, every child can realize his creative and intellectual capabilities.

Sinkwine is a gaming technique.

Compiling a syncwine is used as the final task for the material covered.

Sinkwine can be used to consolidate the studied lexical topic,

Target: Using the “syncwine” technology in the development of coherent speech.

Tasks: To consolidate children's knowledge about spring, its signs, characteristics, and to be able to understand the signs of spring. Activate vocabulary, improve grammatical structure speech. Learn to work independently with the syncwine scheme. Develop creative imagination, logical thinking, memory. Develop goodwill, cooperation and independence skills.

Material: ICT (audio recording, video letter), hourglass, pictures, envelope with colored circles, syncwine diagram, emoticons.

Progress of the lesson.

The music is played by Vivaldi from the cycle “The Seasons. Spring".

Teacher: Guys, let's sit on the rug, close our eyes and plunge into a warm spring day.

(Relaxation moment)

Teacher: Children, each of you imagined spring in your own way, let's share your impressions with each other.

(The teacher seeks complete sentences from the children)

Teacher: Guys, but today is a cold, cloudy day, as if it’s not spring at all. To make the sun warm and smile, you and I need to complete the task that was given to us with a video letter and an hourglass.

(On the video screen: the head of the s/o walks through the park in early spring; asks the children a question)

- Guys, in one minute hourglass you must name 7 signs of spring. As soon as you complete the task, the sun will come out from behind the clouds and begin to shine brighter.

(Children’s answers. The teacher attaches the sun to the board)

Teacher:

Who came so quietly? Well, of course, not an elephant,
And, of course, the hippopotamus could not pass quietly like that.
And none of you heard how the leaf came out of the bud,
And you couldn’t hear how green blades of grass
Taking off their green boots, they quietly emerged from the ground.
And the snowdrop quietly came out. And there is silence everywhere.
This means, this means: spring has come quietly!

Well done guys, you completed this task. And I have one more thing for you. I will tell you riddles, and after you guess them, you must find the corresponding picture.

  1. The snow has melted and a nimble stream is running from the fields... (stream).
  2. Appeared from under the snow,

I saw a piece of the sky.

The very first,

The most tender,

Clean little... (Snowdrop)

  1. The clouds are blown by the wind,
    He's going to the ground.
    If it hits the ground,
The garden will water and the vegetable garden... (Rain)

Teacher: Well done guys, you guessed the riddles correctly. Let's take a little rest and have some physical exercise.

Physical education minute:

They raised their hands and shook them - These are trees in the forest.

Arms bent, hands shaken - The wind blows away the dew.

Let's wave our hands to the sides, smoothly - These are the birds flying towards us.

We will also show how they sit down: The wings are folded back.

Teacher: Guys, look what this scheme is, what is it called?

(The “syncwine” scheme is demonstrated)

Children: This is a syncwine, it helps us talk about objects.

Teacher: Let's remember what word we should say on the first line. (Item name)

What words should be on the second line? (Words are signs)

What words should be on the third line? (Words are actions)

On the fourth line? (You need to make a sentence with this word)

And on the fifth line we make a conclusion or generalization.

We have 3 pictures: stream, snowdrop, rain. Let's divide into 3 teams, to do this you need to take multi-colored circles from the box. Children who have circles blue color, will make up a syncwine about a stream; children with green circles - about snowdrops; guys with white circles - about the rain. Ready? Let's start the task.

CREEK

Spring, sonorous

Flows, noises, pours

A spring, ringing stream is noisy.

Water

SNOWDROP

Beautiful, gentle

It grows, it smells, it makes you happy

In spring the first snowdrops appeared.

Flower.

RAIN

Warm, wet

Walks, wets, splashes

It started to rain outside.

Umbrella

Teacher : Well done guys, you did a great job with all the tasks. You solved all the riddles, named the signs of Spring, and composed interesting syncwines. Tell me, children, which task was difficult for you? Look, the sun has begun to shine brighter, Spring makes us happy with its spring transformations. Let us also thank Vesna-Krasna and sing a song to her.

(Round dance "Vesnyanka")

Oh, the water is running like a stream,

No snow, no ice,

Oh, spring, oh, spring,

No snow, no ice.

We are singing spring flowers,

We call red spring

Oh, let's eat, oh, let's eat,

We call red spring

Teacher: For your activity in class, I want to give you spring emoticons.

Introduction

In the context of the introduction of the Federal State Educational Standard, teachers face preschool education many questions arise:

  • How to make a modern preschooler socially mobile by releasing him into adult life, to school?
  • How to teach the ability to identify, observe, distinguish, classify, evaluate, draw conclusions, and make thoughtful decisions?
  • How to involve your child in interactive activities in class?

The problem of speech formation in preschool children is relevant today and is an important and difficult problem to solve. Successful solution of this task is necessary both to prepare children for the upcoming schooling, and for comfortable communication with others. However, the development of speech in children in the present tense is an urgent problem, which is due to the importance of coherent speech for preschoolers.

Traditional methods of teaching preschoolers recommend using a teacher's story sample as the main teaching technique. But experience shows that children reproduce the teacher’s story with minor changes; the stories are poor expressive means, the vocabulary is small, the texts practically lack simple common and complex sentences. But the main disadvantage is that the child does not construct the story himself, but repeats what he has just heard. During one lesson, children have to listen to several monotonous stories of the same type. For children, this type of activity becomes boring and uninteresting, they begin to get distracted.

One of the effective interesting methods that allows you to activate cognitive activity and contributes to the development of speech, is the work on creating an unrhymed poem, a syncwine.

The innovation of this technique lies in the fact that conditions are created for the development of a personality capable of thinking critically, i.e., eliminating the unnecessary and highlighting the main thing, generalizing, classifying.

Chapter 1. Sinkwine - gaming technology as a means of successful correction and development of speech in preschoolers.

1. 1. What is syncwine.

Word "syncwine" comes from the French word "five" and means "a poem consisting of five lines" .

A cinquain is a poem written in accordance with certain rules.

The significance of this technology is in the enrichment and activation of the verb dictionary, the dictionary of adjectives, the grammatical design of phrases, and the development of associative and visual-figurative thinking.

Experts note that older preschoolers often have speech impairments, a poor vocabulary, children do not know how to compose a story based on a picture, or retell what they read, and it is difficult for them to learn a poem by heart.

The purpose of gaming technology "Sinquain" : development of coherent speech in preschoolers by composing syncwine using symbols, achieving the ability to highlight main idea text, as well as express your thoughts.

Tasks:

  • consolidate the concepts: object, attribute of an object, action of an object
  • teach to use noun, adjective and verb models when composing sentences
  • learn to highlight the main idea, classify
  • automate corrected speech sounds
  • replenish and activate words
  • develop the ability to briefly retell a text
  • train independent work on compiling a syncwine based on an algorithm model

Compiling a syncwine is one way to partially solve these problems. Already at preschool age, you can teach children to compose syncwines.

It is appropriate to compose cinquain at the end of each lexical topic, when children already have sufficient vocabulary on this topic. At first, when compiling a syncwine, it is planned to work with children in pairs, in small groups, and only then – individually. It is necessary to encourage syncwines that contain the most accurate characteristics of various aspects of a topic or subject.

1. 2 Algorithm for compiling a syncwine

Cinquain consists of five lines, its shape resembles a herringbone.

  • The first line is the title, topic, consisting of one word (usually a noun meaning the thing or action being talked about).
  • The second line is two words. Adjectives. This is a description of the characteristics of an object or its properties that reveal the topic.
  • The third line usually consists of three verbs describing the actions of the subject.
  • The fourth line is a phrase or sentence consisting of several words that reflect the personal attitude of the author of the syncwine to what is said in the text.
  • The fifth line is the last. One word is a noun to express one’s feelings, associations associated with an object, a synonym for the first word.

It is assumed that with preschool children, strict adherence to the rules for compiling syncwine is not necessary.

It is possible that in the fourth line the sentence may consist of 3 to 5 words, and in the fifth line, instead of one word, there may be two words.

Example: topic "Trees" .

  1. Birch.
  2. Thin, white-trunked.
  3. It grows, turns green, makes you happy.
  4. Buds grow on a birch tree.
  5. Deciduous tree.
  6. 3 Compiling a syncwine using symbols

Conventions of words for composing syncwine:

The word is a living object (Who?)

A word is an inanimate object (What?)

Word - definition (which? which? which?)

Word is action (what is he doing?)

Four word sentence

Word - association (synonym of the first word)

Chapter 2. The use of syncwine in the system of correctional work to overcome speech disorders in children of senior preschool age.

2. 1 The effectiveness of syncwine in the development of figurative speech in preschoolers.

What is its effectiveness and significance?

  • Firstly, its simplicity. Anyone can make a cinquain.
  • Secondly, in composing a syncwine, every child can realize his creative and intellectual capabilities.
  • Sinkwine is a gaming technique.
  • Compiling a syncwine is used as the final task for the material covered.
  • Compiling a syncwine is used for reflection, analysis and synthesis of the information received.

The innovation of this technique lies in the fact that conditions are created for the development of a personality capable of thinking critically, i.e., eliminating the superfluous and highlighting the main thing, generalizing, classifying.

A cinquain can be composed about nature, a painting, and fairy tale hero, about mom and dad, about mood. You can use syncwine to compose a poem for any event or holiday. This is a form of free creativity, which is aimed at developing the ability to find the most important and essential features, analyze, draw conclusions, briefly formulate your statements.

When compiling a syncwine with preschoolers, you need to remember that it is necessary to compose it only on topics that are well known to children and be sure to show a sample.

If compilation is difficult, you can help with leading questions.

You need to be prepared for the fact that not all children may like composing a syncwine, because working on it requires a certain understanding, vocabulary, and the ability to express their thoughts. Therefore, it is necessary to help and encourage children’s desire to compose a syncwine or answer questions. Gradually, children will get used to the rules of writing unrhymed poems, and composing them will turn into a game. And unnoticed by the children themselves, playing cinquain will become a fun and entertaining activity for them. Children will be proud of their achievements!

2. 2. Examples of syncwines composed by children

1. Theme "Toys" .

Teddy Bear

Brown, soft

Sits, washes, eats

Teddy bear loves honey

2. Theme "Trees" .

Tall, slender

Sways, rustles, grows

Birch sap is collected from the birch tree

3. Theme "Air Transport"

Helicopter

Fast, convenient

Flies, transports, lands

The helicopter looks like a dragonfly.

Transport

Conclusion

Cinquain is a French five-line poem similar to Japanese poems. It helps to expand your vocabulary. Teaches brief retelling. Find and highlight the main idea in a large volume of information. Writing a syncwine is a creative process. This fun activity helps children express themselves through writing their own unrhymed poems. Everyone can create it. It helps develop speech and thinking. Facilitates the process of mastering concepts and their content.

Using syncwine technology

in the development of speech in older preschoolers.

One of the effective methods for developing a child’s speech, which allows you to quickly get results, is to work on creating an unrhymed poem - a syncwine. Cinquain is translated from French as “five lines,” a five-line stanza of a poem.

This technology does not require special conditions for its use and fits organically into the work on the development of lexical and grammatical categories, contributes to the enrichment and updating of the dictionary, clarifies the content of concepts, allows the teacher to assess the child’s level of mastery of the material covered, has the nature of a complex impact, not only developing speech, but by promoting the development of higher mental functions (memory, attention, thinking), it allows the child to be an active, creative participant in the educational process.

Rules for compiling syncwine.

First line – one word, usually a noun, that expresses the main idea.

Second line – two words, adjectives, describing the main idea.

Third line – three words, verbs that describe actions within the topic.

Fourth line– a phrase of several words showing an attitude towards a topic.

Fifth line – words related to the first, reflecting the essence of the topic (associative series).

This technology is universal.

Target : to achieve a deeper understanding of the issue, to test the children’s ability to briefly and accurately express their thoughts on a given topic.

Relevance and feasibilitythe use of didactic syncwine in speech therapy practice is explained by the fact that:

New technology opens up new opportunities; Modern speech therapy practice is characterized by the search and implementation of new effective technologies that help optimize the work of a speech therapist teacher.

It fits harmoniously into the work on the development of LHA; the use of syncwine does not violate the generally accepted system of influencing speech pathology and ensures its logical completeness.

Contributes to the enrichment and updating of the dictionary, clarifies the content of concepts.
- It is a diagnostic tool that allows the teacher to assess the child’s level of mastery of the material covered.

It has the nature of a complex effect, not only develops speech, but contributes to the development of HMF (memory, attention, thinking).

Examples of syncwine composition

1. Doll.

2. Beautiful, beloved.

3. Stands, sits, smiles.

4. My doll is the most beautiful.

5. Toy.

1. Car.

2. Fast, powerful.

3. Drives, overtakes, brakes.

4. I love to ride.

5. Transport.

1. Rain.

2. Wet, cold.

3. Dripping, knocking, pouring.

4. I don't like rain.

5. Water.

Preliminary work on creating a speech base for composing syncwine with older preschoolers who have OHP is based on that part of the T.B. program. Filicheva and G.V. Chirkina “Elimination of general speech underdevelopment in preschool children,” which concerns the development of lexical and grammatical means of language and coherent speech.

At the end of the first year of study, most older preschoolers gradually master the skill of composing a syncwine, practicing selecting actions and signs for objects, improving the ability to generalize, expanding and clarifying vocabulary, and working with sentences.

Sinkwine can be composed on individual and group classes, classes with one group or in two subgroups at the same time. Children who can print can create a syncwine on a piece of paper, while those who cannot can create a syncwine in the form of oral compositions based on a diagram. You can give homework for joint activities between the child and parents: draw an object and compose a syncwine.

The following work options can be used:

Compilation short story using a ready-made syncwine (using words and phrases included in the syncwine);

Compiling a syncwine based on the story you listened to;

Correction and improvement of finished syncwine;

Analysis of an incomplete syncwine to determine the missing part (for example, a syncwine is given without indicating the topic, the first line - it is necessary to determine it based on existing lines).

It is useful to compose a syncwine to consolidate the studied lexical topic.

Proper use of syncwine:

In classes to consolidate the studied lexical topic.

1. Birch.

2. Thin, white-trunked.

3. It grows, turns green, makes you happy.

4. Birch is a symbol of Russia.

5. Tree.

To reinforce concepts learned in pre-literacy classes.

1. Speech sounds.

2. Vowels, consonants.

3. We hear, pronounce, highlight.

4. Sounds form words.

5. Speech.

In classes on the development of coherent speech: using words from syncwine, come up with a story.

1. Hare.

2. White, fluffy.

3. Hides, is afraid, runs away.

4. I feel sorry for the hare.

5. Wild animal.

A white fluffy hare lives in the winter forest. The hare's life is difficult; he is afraid of the wolf and the fox; when he sees them, he hides or runs away. I feel sorry for the hare. Life is difficult for wild animals in winter.

At creative use syncwine in the classroom, it is perceived by preschoolers as an exciting game, as an opportunity to express their opinion, agree or disagree with the opinions of others, and come to an agreement.

The effectiveness of using syncwine lies in quickly obtaining results and consolidating them, facilitating the process of mastering concepts and their content, expanding and updating vocabulary, learning to express one’s thoughts, selecting the right words, and developing the ability to analyze.

Writing a syncwine requires the compiler to realize almost all of his personal abilities (intellectual, creative, imaginative). Compiling a syncwine is useful for developing children's ability to analyze. The use of didactic syncwine in the classroom allows the speech therapist to harmoniously combine in his work the elements of three main educational systems: informational, activity-based and personality-oriented, which is especially important when working with children with special educational needs.

Various variations for composing syncwine contribute to the diversified composition of tasks. At first, when compiling a syncwine, we plan to work with children in pairs, in small groups, and only then – individually.

Tips for teachers:

1. When starting to teach children to compose syncwines, invite the children to compose a syncwine on a topic that is familiar to them (“Family”, “Kindergarten”, etc.)

2. It is necessary to encourage syncwines that contain the most accurate description of various aspects of a topic or subject.

To any directly educational activities children receive information from us, get acquainted with new terms, learn to draw conclusions, and look for connections. The ability to express information, complex ideas, feelings and perceptions in a few words is a very important skill. It requires thoughtful reflection based on a rich conceptual stock and meaning.

Sinkwine is not a way to test children’s knowledge, it is a way, at any stage of a lesson, studying a topic, to check what students have at the level of associations.

Eg:

Start of direct educational activities. Getting started studying new topic, we usually ask: “What do you already know about this? What do you think? How do you feel?" Having analyzed the results obtained, we correct the children’s ideas about this concept.

The height of direct educational activities. The topic is very difficult to understand. The children are tired. We offer them a syncwine on some well-known section of the topic being studied. A quick way to change the type of activity without leaving the topic.

The topic has been studied. The quality, depth and strength of our children’s knowledge is shown by the final control section. And now, at the end of the lesson - cinquain. A worthy result of studying new material that demonstrates not so much knowledge as understanding, value judgments, value orientations of children. Ultimately, with a detailed analysis of syncwines, it is easy to see how successful the teacher was in achieving the planned result.

You can make up syncwine - a riddle.

Examples of syncwin riddles:

1. Invincible, brave - protects, stands on guard, fights - if it is strong - the country is invincible - I’m proud! (army)

2. The wise, the kind - they live, they remember, they grow old - they went into battle without sparing themselves - they overshadowed the country with themselves! (veterans)

Sinkwine for a kindergarten teacher is:

A tool for synthesizing and summarizing complex information,

A means of creative self-expression for a child,

A way to enrich vocabulary,

Preparing for a short retelling,

And just a fun activity, thanks to which every preschooler can feel like a creative genius.

Cinquains are an excellent way to control. It is impossible to compose a syncwine without knowing the topic, subject or text.

It is good to use this technology as a result of the work of the teachers’ council, creating wonderful syncwines that express the essence of the work of the team and the results of the teachers’ council.

And also Synquains are very convenient to use for self-control or for mnemonic purposes. If you can easily compose such a poem, then rest assured: the topic has been mastered well. In addition, the syncwine contains your emotional perception of the topic.
