TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

SAMPLE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

Explanatory note

general characteristics academic subject

The current stage of development of society is characterized by intensive implementation in all spheres human activity new, knowledge-intensive and high technologies that ensure a more complete realization of the individual’s potential abilities. This trend in our reality urgently requires the training of the younger generation, possessing a technological culture, ready for transformative activities and having the necessary scientific knowledge for this. Technological culture is a new attitude to the surrounding world, which presupposes, on the one hand, knowledge and preservation of traditions, and on the other, the transformation, improvement and improvement of the human environment. Primary technological education should provide a person with the opportunity to develop more harmoniously and live in the modern technological world.

The most important feature of technology lessons in primary school is that they are built on a unique psychological and didactic basis - subject-matter and practical activities, which at primary school age serve as a necessary component of the holistic process of spiritual, moral and intellectual development (primarily abstract, constructive thinking and spatial imagination). Organization of productive transformative creative activity children in technology lessons creates an important counterbalance to the verbalism of teaching in primary school, which is one of the main reasons for the decrease in educational and cognitive motivation, the formalization of knowledge and, ultimately, the low effectiveness of teaching. Productive subject activity in technology lessons is the basis for the formation cognitive abilities younger schoolchildren, desire to actively learn history material culture and family traditions of one’s own and other peoples and treat them with respect.

The meaning and possibilities of the subject “Technology” go far beyond providing students with information about the technical and technological picture of the world. With appropriate content and methodological content, this subject can become the basis for the formation of a system of universal educational activities at the primary level of a comprehensive school. It contains all the elements educational activities(planning, task orientation, transformation, product evaluation, ability to recognize and pose problems arising in the context of a practical situation, propose practical ways decisions, to achieve results, etc.) are presented in a visual form and thereby become more understandable for children.

The practice-oriented focus of the content of the educational subject “Technology” naturally integrates the knowledge gained from studying other academic subjects (mathematics, the world, fine arts, Russian language, literary reading), and allows them to be realized in the student’s intellectual and practical activities. This, in turn, creates conditions for the development of initiative, ingenuity, and flexibility of thinking.

Children's productive activities during technology lessons create a unique basis for personal self-realization. They are age appropriate mental development younger children school age, when it is thanks to independently carried out productive project activities that students can realize their skills, earn approval and receive recognition (for example, for the conscientiousness shown in their work, perseverance in achieving a goal, or as the authors of an original creative idea embodied in material form). As a result, it is here that the foundations of hard work and the ability to express oneself are laid, socially valuable practical skills, experience of transformative activities and creativity are formed.

Thus, the educational subject “Technology” ensures the real inclusion in the educational process of various structural components of the personality (intellectual, emotional-aesthetic, spiritual-moral, physical) in their unity, which creates conditions for the harmonization of development, preservation and strengthening of mental and physical health the younger generation.

Technology is inherently a complex and integrative academic subject. In terms of content, it assumes real connections with almost all primary school subjects.

Mathematics- modeling (transforming objects from a sensory form into models, recreating objects from a model in material form, mental transformation of objects, etc.), performing calculations, calculations, constructing forms taking into account the basics of geometry, working with geometric shapes, bodies, named numbers.

art - use of funds artistic expression in order to harmonize forms and designs, manufacturing products based on the laws and rules of decorative and applied arts and design.

The world- consideration and analysis of natural forms and structures as a universal source of engineering and artistic ideas for the master, nature as a source of raw materials, taking into account environmental problems, human activity as the creator of the material and cultural environment; study of ethnocultural traditions.

Native language -development oral speech based on the use of the most important types of speech activity and basic types educational texts in the process of analyzing tasks and discussing the results of practical activities (describing the design of a product, materials and methods of processing them; narrating the course of action and constructing an activity plan; constructing logically coherent statements in reasoning, justification, and drawing conclusions).

Literary reading - working with texts to create an image implemented in a product.

The study of technology in primary school is aimed at solving the following tasks:

Stimulating and developing curiosity, interest in technology, the world of professions, the need to learn the cultural traditions of your region, Russia and other countries;

Formation of a picture of material and spiritual culture as a product of creative subject-transforming human activity;

Formation of motivation for success and achievements, creative self-realization, interest in subject-transforming, artistic and design activities;

Formation of initial design and technological knowledge and skills;

Development of sign-symbolic and spatial thinking, creative and reproductive imagination, creative thinking;

Formation of an internal plan of activity based on the stage-by-stage development of subject-transformative actions, including goal setting, planning (the ability to draw up an action plan and apply it to solve educational problems), forecasting (anticipating a future result when different conditions execution of actions), control, correction and evaluation;

Mastering the initial skills of transferring, searching, converting, storing information, and using a computer; searching (checking) the necessary information in dictionaries and library catalogues.

PersonalThe results of studying technology are the education and development of socially and personally significant qualities, individual personal positions, value systems that reveal attitudes towards work, a system of norms and rules of interpersonal communication that ensures the success of joint activities.

Metasubject The results of studying technology are students’ mastery of universal methods of activity, applicable both within the educational process and in real life situations.

SubjectThe results of studying technology are age-appropriate basic information about technology, technology and the technological side of work, about the basics of work culture, basic skills in subject-transformative activities, knowledge about various professions and the ability to navigate the world of professions, basic experience in creative and project activities.
