In the Voronezh Park of the living and the dead, avenging ghosts live! Literary Necropolis or Park of the Living and the Dead (ZHIM) Park of the Living and the Dead

Now called the Durov Park, Voronezh residents know this memorable place by the abbreviation "ZHIM", which stands for Park of the Living and the Dead. Its history and evolution is so bizarre that it deserves a separate story.
In 1828, a new cemetery was founded on this site (beyond the then Voronezh borders) by the inhabitants of the Blizhnaya Chizhovka settlement, which initially turned out to be of little demand, since there was no church on it, and the funeral had to be performed on the other side of the settlement. Therefore, the cemetery, almost immediately after its foundation, was abandoned by Voronezh residents ... However, due to the cholera epidemics that shook Voronezh in 1831 and 1832, the funeral processions again headed here. Several thousand Voronezh residents were buried in this land during those cholera years.

Church of All Saints

And then at the cemetery, which became citywide, the construction of the Church of All Saints began, which was built from 1834 to 1851. The long-term construction is explained by the fact that the cemetery church was erected with private donations from the merchant's wife Evdokia Sergeevna Avramova. Over the course of 17 years, watching that construction site, the Voronezh residents called the church, and then the cemetery itself, Newly Builders.

Memorial service at the monument to the poet A. Koltsov

In 1842, the great Russian poet Alexei Vasilyevich Koltsov was betrayed to the land of the newly built (Mitrofanovsky) cemetery, mourning whose untimely death, the most famous Russian writers one after another agreed with the literary critic Vissarion Grigorievich Belinsky, who recognized the poet - after Pushkin, Gogol and Lermontov - the right to genius.

Monument at the grave of the poet I. Nikitin

And in 1861, in the neighborhood of Koltsov, another great Russian singer Ivan Savvich Nikitin rested forever. Thus, a literary necropolis arose in one of the corners of the Mitrofanovsky cemetery. And long before our days, admirers of poets came here, to whose graves along the well-groomed cemetery there were signs with the inscriptions "The path to the monuments of Koltsov and Nikitin."

Park of the Living and the Dead

Over the hundred-year history of the Newly Built (Mitrofanovsky) Cemetery, many thousands of Voronezh residents found their last earthly shelter here, among whom were high-ranking officials, retired generals, cultural figures, merchants, and working people.

Continuing to operate after the revolution of 1917, the cemetery was closed by the decision of the Voronezh City Council in 1934.

And on the eve of the war in 1940 - literally, on the graves - the Park of Culture and Leisure of the Voroshilovsky District was arranged, which immediately received the gloomy name "Park of the Living and the Dead" or, in short, "ZHIM".

Of the thousands of burials, the destroyers of the largest city cemetery in Voronezh did not touch only 6 burials, among which were the graves of two Voronezh poets (I. S. Nikitin and A. V. Koltsov), three closest relatives of the poet A. V. Koltsov (mother, father and sisters), as well as the resting place of the now little-known Soviet writer E. M. Militsyna.

In 1930, she was buried with her fellow writers - under a marble tombstone in the form of a sarcophagus, on which the words of the classic of socialist realism A. M. Gorky from his letter to E. M. Militsyna are carved: "Smart and persistent fighter for the revival of our country."

Construction of the circus (1967)

Following the cemetery (after the war), the cemetery All Saints (Novo-Mitrofanovskaya, Newly built) church was destroyed, under the arches of which at one time there was a forge, then a garment factory No. 1.

Built at the behest of the soul with private donations from Voronezh residents, the Church of All Saints was mercilessly demolished by soulless descendants in 1964 in order to build ... a circus in its place!

And since then, Voronezh residents, visiting their circus, built on the graves of their ancestors, pass by the remains of the destroyed cemetery - fenced with a low fence, a plot of cemetery land measuring 16 × 19 meters, which today officially, but with a touch of lyrical regret, is called "Literary necropolis", and is positioned by the city authorities as one of the main attractions of Voronezh.

It is symbolic that this sad Voronezh landmark is located at the intersection of the street of the 20th anniversary of October (read - 1937!) And the street named after one of the leaders of the armed uprising in Voronezh in October 1917, a participant in the Civil War A. S. Moiseev. In 1919, shot by the White Guards who temporarily captured Voronezh, the Bolshevik Moiseev was buried by his wife at the Newly Built Cemetery - in a grave that is now listed as lost along with the cemetery.

To this it remains to add that the building of the Voronezh circus was put into operation in 1972 - in the godless Soviet era. But at the beginning of the 21st century - already in the era of a seemingly renewed Russia - despite the numerous protests of Voronezh residents, a huge shopping and entertainment complex with the pretentious name "Europe" was erected on the cemetery land (on the territory of the Park of the Living and the Dead) and is now operating.

A park built on bones in Voronezh has become a habitat for evil spirits that have emerged from defiled graves!

There are seven large parks in Voronezh, but superstitious locals prefer to bypass only one of them. Although outwardly it is no different from other urban cultural monuments, on the contrary, it should attract the attention of onlookers with a circus that has existed for more than a dozen years. A circus built on bones and for years causing local ghosts to haunt the living out of revenge...

The bloody history of the "park in the cemetery"

Priests and believers of Voronezh believe that there should not have been a park at this place at all. The cemetery named after St. Mitrofan of Voronezh existed on this piece of land for many decades: basically, the inhabitants of the city who died from the cholera epidemic were buried there. In the southern part of the complex of graves, there was a "Literary Necropolis", which has been preserved to this day. It contains the graves of the poets Nikitin and Koltsov, as well as the writer Militsyna.

In 1940, one of the local party leaders living near the cemetery decided to change the situation outside the window and contribute to the construction of the Durov Recreation and Culture Park on the graves of thousands of Voronezh residents. At the same time, the city leadership was not even going to take into account the fact that the last burial at the Mitrofanovsky cemetery was made only 5 years ago. Tombstones were barbarously removed from the graves and used to line the streets and stairs leading to the river. Since atheism flourished in the USSR at that time, many residents of the city took the plates to private houses and used them in construction and gardening. The large spacious park has become one of the most popular recreational areas for the townspeople.

In 1975, a circus was built in the park, which was supposed to attract even more local residents. Its building was erected on the site of the former All-Vyatka Church, which stood at the same cemetery. Voronezh State Circus named after A.L. Durov with a capacity of 2100 seats is still functioning. During the construction of the circus, workers regularly died, were injured by everything they could and claimed that the place was cursed, but no one listened to them.

Revenge of the disturbed dead

The owners of private houses, who did not disdain gravestones for their household, were the first to experience the influence of the recklessly touched dead. Already in 1941-42, they feverishly began to get rid of what was appropriated, simply throwing stones with the names of the deceased into the street. On the surrounding "Park of the Living and the Dead", as it was then called, the streets, there was not a single house with a stove from the Mitofanovsky cemetery, which would bypass death. Their new owners seemed to be cursed: they fell seriously ill or simply died under strange circumstances.

Later, one of the local residents said:

“A family lived next door to us. The guy brought them on a cart as many as three slabs to pave the yard. Mother cursed, ordered to take the plates out, but the father stood up, he was a party member, and ordered to leave. Less than a month later, the eldest son in the family, the one who brought the plates, fell ill with pneumonia, and soon died. Then my father broke his leg, it grew together incorrectly, then they broke it three times, and so he remained disabled. Well, when tuberculosis was discovered in the youngest daughter, the mother did not listen to anyone anymore, called the peasants, gave them half a liter, and they pulled the stoves out of the yard and carried them away from the house - they threw them into the stream. And she went to the church and ordered a magpie for the repose of the names that were carved on the slabs. Exactly 40 days later, the daughter began to recover, they sent her to a sanatorium in the Crimea, where she recovered.

Since the steps of the park stairs were paved with tombstones, the ghosts were not left without attention. For example, the staircase on Velvet Bugor Street, dismantled by the residents of Voronezh just a few years ago, was known for many years by a ghost named Praskovya.
The crying girl was called by the name carved on the tombstone, on which she constantly sat. One of those who saw her rewrote her name on a stone and ordered a service in the temple for Praskovya, after which she immediately disappeared.

All the troupes touring the country know about the mystical complexities of working in the Durov Circus, so most of them categorically do not agree to come to the damned park. It is known that animals feel the presence of beings from the subtle world much stronger than humans. Trainers say that for this reason it is impossible to perform in the Durov circus, since none of the animals obey commands.

Perhaps the residents of Voronezh should think about moving or closing the park after such events…

Voronezh is one of the "greenest" cities in Russia. We have selected the largest city parks and talk about their pros and cons.

Despite the fact that spring cannot come into its own in any way, we all understand that it’s not long to wait for truly spring weather, which means that romantic walks, picnics and other pastimes are just around the corner ..

Scarlet Sails Park

Story:
Founded in the late seventies on the shores of the newly created "Voronezh Sea", the park was intended to become the main place of recreation for the townspeople, but with perestroika, the enthusiasm of the city authorities quickly faded, and after almost twenty years, only residents of nearby streets remembered its existence.
By the 425th anniversary of Voronezh, the park was finally reconstructed and immediately became one of the most favorite places for walking in Voronezh.

What is remarkable today:
The first and, perhaps, so far the only Voronezh park of a truly European level. Short-cut green grass, original swings, rubber coating on the playground, an impressive view of the panorama of the right bank - all this makes the "Scarlet Sails" a worthy analogue of the quiet and tidy squares of a European town.

Pros:
The park is constantly patrolled by law enforcement agencies, which, if not completely excludes, then at least significantly reduces the possibility of becoming a victim of hooligan elements. On a fine spring day, you can treat yourself to a picnic on a neat lawn. food delivery through the ZakaZaka service

Minuses:
The opening hours of the park from 11 am to 11 pm will certainly interfere with lovers of romantic night or morning walks.

Park them. Durova ("ZhiM")

Story:
Initially, the site of the park was the Mitrofanovskoye cemetery, which was liquidated in 1940 as a relic of the bourgeois heritage. On the site of the depressing cemetery, the Circus was erected, and on the nearby territory, in fact, the park itself. Initially, it meant an ideal place for parents to walk with their children, couples in love and schoolchildren of all ages. However, very soon it turned into a place of severe showdowns between local aborigines, and in the nineties it finally turned into a favorite place for carriers of social vices.

What is remarkable today:
Thanks to the efforts of the city administration, the park has been landscaped and ennobled, now it practically does not resemble the sad landscape of ZhiM in the nineties. Pretty flowerbeds and flower beds are about to begin to please the eyes and soul of the townspeople.
Like the restored fountain, and in the near future - a summer cafe.

Pros:
Convenient location in a quiet corner of the city, a relatively small number of walkers.

Minuses:
The Southwestern region has always been somewhat marginalized among a certain part of the local population, so it would be somewhat imprudent to linger in the park until dark.

Park "Dynamo"

Story:
One of the oldest city parks was opened already in 1929 and for almost 70 years remained a favorite vacation spot for several generations of Voronezh residents. There were many attractions in the park, including almost the only one in Voronezh, the Devil's Wheel. The Green Theater was especially popular. In the spring, snowdrops were collected here, in the summer they hid from the heat, in the fall they thoughtfully walked along the yellow alleys, and in the winter they arranged fun rides from Pioneer Hill.

What is remarkable today:
There was no trace of the rides, but Pioneer Hill, snowdrops and trees are in place. As well as alleys, perfect for thoughtful and romantic walks. Already this year, a major improvement of the park is expected, so you probably have the last opportunity to meet spring in the post-apocalyptic scenery.

Pros:
Despite the general disorder compared to other parks, Dynamo has its positive features - for example, this park is ideal for picnics, cycling and photo shoots. And there is also a stable, where everyone can ride on horseback.

Minuses:
It is even less adapted for night walks than all Voronezh parks put together. It is also popular among exhibitionists, which can certainly shock the unprepared casual viewer (although after the death of the infamous "Little Dwarf", who terrified Dynamo visitors for the past decade, the situation in the park has more or less stabilized).

Aircraft Builders Park

Story:
The park was founded back in 1934, and for 60 years it faithfully served the residents of the Left Bank District, while not being very popular among other Voronezh residents. But in 1994, the City Zoo was founded on its territory, and the park became much more visited. In general, this is one of those places that did not die in the nineties, but, on the contrary, became more and more beautiful over time.

What is remarkable today:
In 2009, the zoo officially became a zoo, and its popularity among visitors has grown exponentially. As for the park itself, the atmosphere of such a children's park of the eighties gives it a special charm - a sculpture of young Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, funny wooden fairy-tale characters, a children's train and many other elements of the Soviet period.

Pros:
Tired of walking in the park, you can always turn to the zoo and admire camels, porcupines, foxes, etc.

Minuses:
Actually, if you are not particularly enthusiastic about the prospect of looking at unfortunate animals suffering in captivity, but you just want to take a walk with your beloved, then this place is not for you.

Olympic Park

Story:
She is actually quite small. Initially, the ski base in 1999 was transformed into the forest park SOK "Olympic", which immediately became a favorite place for outdoor activities. There are a lot of people at the Olympic all year round - there are skiers, roller skaters, football players, and just walking around. Often "Olympic" hosts rock concerts and other events.
What can I say, of course, this is the most visited park in the city, and it is difficult to find a Voronezh resident who has not been there at least once.

What is remarkable today:
The park develops every year. For example, now what is happening at the "Olympic" can be observed through a webcam installed on its territory. There is also a track for skiing on the map. Especially good "Olympic" in the spring. Where else, if not here, can one observe the awakening of nature from many months of hibernation?

Pros:
An ideal place for rollerblading and biking, and just for walking along the paths winding between the trees. Also great for picnics, although of course, you need to remember about the ban on lighting fires.

Minuses:
These include only the densely populated park with lovers of a healthy lifestyle, which can rattle your nerves if you expect to just relax in silence.

Tanais Park

Story:
The Tanais park appeared on the map of Voronezh in 1973 (originally it was called more cumbersomely - the Children's Park of the Soviet District). It received its current name in 1994. The area of the park is almost 24 hectares, in which pine trees and attractions coexist peacefully.

What is remarkable today:
By and large, the Tanais park is focused on the younger generation, but, frankly, who among us doesn’t want to ride the rides familiar from childhood? The management of the park prefers domestically produced carousels: Parovozik, Svetofor, Orbita, giant swings Emelya, Vikhr and others. Plus tennis, karting and a shooting range. In a word, a great place to plunge into childhood.
Yes, and there are also tame squirrels here.

Pros:
Riding on Soviet attractions promises to be one of the main trends of the coming spring. Why not?

Minuses:
Carousels can still tire you out. Well, it will be extremely difficult to arrange a picnic here.

Orlyonok Park

Story:
Along with Tanais, it is the oldest amusement park in Voronezh. For a long time, the building of the Youth Theater at the Voronezh Institute was located here. In 2009, during the reconstruction, the building was solemnly demolished.
"Eaglet" is also known to Voronezh residents for its monuments, including the funny "Boy with Chewing Gum".
A special attraction is the majestic gate with white columns and a cast-iron fence.

What is remarkable today:
Approximately the same as "Tanais". Attractions, carousels and the like. True, unlike the South-West Park, they are popular not only among young schoolchildren, but also among young people. Since 2009, a new landmark of the park has been the monument to Osip Mandelstam, recognized, by the way, as the best new monument in Voronezh.

Pros:
The location of the park in the very center of Voronezh is, of course, the main plus of this park. Plenty of rides guarantee you the thrills you've probably missed over the long, long winter.

Minuses:
In addition to riding the rides, there is practically nothing to do in Orlyonok.

Choose a park to your liking and meet spring there!

The popular name is ZhIM or the Park of the Living and the Dead.
1828 - 1935
Newly built Mitrofanovskoye cemetery
It was founded by the inhabitants of the settlement Near Chizhovka in 1828 on the outskirts of the settlement and outside Voronezh. The new cemetery did not receive wide popularity, since there was no church on it, and the funeral service had to be performed on the other side of the settlement. Therefore, the cemetery, almost immediately after its foundation, was abandoned and continued to be buried there already in 1831 and 1832, during the cholera epidemic, when there was a shortage of places in other cemeteries. The epidemic has passed - the burials have ceased. In 1836, the All Saints Church was finally built here, and the cemetery became a citywide one.
In 1842, the poet A. Koltsov was buried at the newly built churchyard, and in 1861 - I. Nikitin. Their graves became an attraction for passing travelers, so signs were installed on the paths: "To the graves of Koltsov and Nikitin." By the age of 20 20th century this cemetery occupied more than 8 hectares and was the largest in Voronezh. In 1930, the writer E. Militsyna was buried here. On the tombstone are the words of A. Gorky: "a smart and persistent fighter for the revival of our country."
In 1934, the Voronezh City Council closed the Newly Built Cemetery. The last burials took place in 1935. Soon, the bulk of the tombstones were removed from the churchyard, leaving only A. Koltsov with his relatives, I. Nikitin and E. Militsyna in eternal rest. In the 1960s During the construction of the Circus, the All Saints Church was also demolished. And the so-called Literary Necropolis can be visited even today - it is next to the circus, near the tram stop.
1940
At the former cemetery, it was decided to lay out a park for the rest of the townspeople. A well-aimed popular definition of "Park of the Living and the Dead" appeared immediately after the start of construction. About how wonderful it became to live and relax, tells a historical document:
Newspaper "Commune" July 19, 1940
PARK OF CULTURE AND RECREATION OF THE PLANT - 16.
More recently, a huge green area was abandoned. Now this area is difficult to recognize - it has changed so much. The array is framed by a high fence. At the entrance there is a beautiful arch. In the center of the main alley is a monumental sculpture of Comrade Stalin. Around - flower beds and lawns.
In a record time - two months - the park of the Voronezh plant - 16 was created. You built a summer cinema, a stage, a reading room, a dance floor, a cafe. In the depths of the park there are two shooting ranges: one - for shooting from small-caliber weapons, the other - from wind. A large area is reserved for a sports town. An obstacle course is being built here to pass the standards for the TRP badge, a tennis court, two volleyball, basketball and croquet courts, and a shower are being equipped. Attractions are installed nearby: “flying people”, “swing boats”, “giant steps”, etc.
The grand opening of the park will take place on the evening of July 27, on the eve of the Day of the Soviet Navy.
And further, until the 80s:
The aircraft engine plant - 16 was evacuated in 1941 to Kazan, and remained there. And the park was rebuilt after the war and called the park of the Leninsky district. Entertainment - for all ages and for all tastes: a playground, pony rides, a summer theater where amateur groups perform on weekends; cafe with Zhiguli beer and different waters; dance floor with live music; benches under the trees where you can sit and remember your youth. When the Circus opened in 1972, the opportunity to take part in the fun organized by a traveling troupe was added: ride a camel, chat with a clown or take a picture with an elephant. And behind the lattice fence of the dance floor, promising students met young military men and were carried away in waltzes to the sounds of a brass band? Back in the 80s, in Leninsky Park, one could sit in a cafe with relative comfort and admire how children sort things out in the sandbox.
And in the 90s:
In 1996, the dance floor was demolished, and a church dedicated to the Great Martyr Demetrius of Solon was built in its place. The townspeople asked the city administration whether the authorities were going to return the cemetery to its place?.. And move the circus, for example, to the square named after the leader?..

Increasingly, there is a conversation about green areas and eco-routes in Voronezh. Therefore, let's recall the history, a brief "biography" of the parks of the Right Bank of Voronezh with all their shortcomings and features, in order to understand what changes can be made taking into account the past.

Koltsovsky square

The square in the city center, immersed in lush greenery, is known to every resident of the city. Koltsovsky Square is one of the symbols of the city, a favorite place for Voronezh residents and visiting guests.

Its history began in the 19th century with an unnamed public garden, and even then the townspeople fell in love with it. One of the first fountains appeared here, flowerbeds with exotic fragrant flowers were laid out, which were grown specially in greenhouses. Beautiful flowers delighted the eyes with brightness and variegation, lush greenery gave saving coolness on hot days.

It was in the square that it was decided to erect a bust of the national poet of Russia A. Koltsov, a native and favorite of Voronezh, since then it has become known as Koltsovsky. In 1977, a novelty appeared - a color-musical fountain, spewing streams of water with bright illumination synchronously to the rhythm of sounding music. At that time, it was an unprecedented miracle, even the capital could envy such a fountain.

Bunin Square

One of the small but necessary green islands today seems to us Buninsky Square - cozy, clean, with a monument to Ivan Alekseevich Bunin in the center. It is located at the intersection of Plekhanovskaya and Ordzhonikidze streets. The very bronze figure of the "owner" of the square, sitting on a fallen tree, with an open book and a dog clinging to his feet, as if offers to slow down, stop, listen to yourself, take a break from the city's daily bustle, relax and gain strength.

Many things connected Bunin with Voronezh. He was born here in 1870, his infancy passed here - the most important for any person - the first years of his life.

Durov Park

The Durov Park or the Park of the Living and the Dead is located in the Leninsky district of the city. He has a difficult history. Once upon a time there was a Mitrofanevsky cemetery in its place.

The former authorities in 1940 decided to get rid of its dull appearance on the face of the city, leaving only a few graves to exist. The so-called "Literary Necropolis" contained the burial places of prominent personalities of the Voronezh land - the poets Nikitin and Koltsov, as well as the writer Militsyna. But now the monument has changed for the better.

Broken down several club surrounded by lawns. The decoration of the park was the fountain, which was inactive for some time. Immediately with the beginning of the season, summer cafes will operate. With the onset of darkness, most of the park is illuminated with the help of lanterns installed here.

The park has a place for children's recreation. The old carousel was replaced by equipped playgrounds with sandboxes for the little ones. One of them is located immediately behind the circus building. The tiled walking paths have been updated, benches and trash bins have been installed along their sides. There are a number of sports grounds for mini-football and basketball.

Amusement park "Eaglet"

Orlyonok Park is one of the oldest parks in the city, a favorite vacation spot for Voronezh residents. It is well located in the city center, next to the railway station.

The vast territory is divided into an entertainment area with attractions and a quiet area with memorable places, sculptures, where you can safely sit on benches in the shade of trees, slowly stroll along the paths.

There are a lot of attractions, swings, carousels, which are interesting not only for children, adults are also not averse to a ride with the breeze. Only here Voronezh residents can ride a roller coaster, tasting all the charm of breathtaking speeds. In 2008, a monument was solemnly erected to the poet O. Mandelstam, whose fate is inextricably linked with Voronezh. The cycle "Voronezh Notebooks" is dedicated to the city where he was exiled.

Tanais Park

Park "Tanais" - the former Children's Park of the Soviet District, was created in 1973 with the participation of many enterprises of the city. Together, on an area of 24 hectares, a unique park area was created with pine trees that fill the air with a healing effect, attractions.

For many years, the park has been a favorite vacation spot for children and adults, it has undergone changes, changed its form of ownership and name, from 1994 to the present day it has been called the beautiful ancient Greek word Tanais. Conventionally, the territory can be divided into an entertainment area with attractions and a green recreation area. The infrastructure is well developed, there are several cafes, kiosks with ice cream, drinks, a 3D cinema, a shooting gallery, the “Castle of Fear” awaits thrill-seekers, and an ice rink is flooded in winter.

Park "Optimist"

In the Sovetsky district of Voronezh, practically on its outskirts, the Optimist park is located. Back in 1946, it was laid by students of Voronezh universities. Since then, small seedlings have turned into mighty trees. In Soviet times, the park was flooded with vacationers at weekends. Sports grounds for volleyball, basketball and football were equipped on its territory.

You could have a bite to eat or drink soft drinks right there, in the Sosnovy Bor restaurant. Now our parents are reminded of him only by the destroyed walls.

At some point, the park area was supposed to become a large construction site. Only mass protests, actions and confrontation of local residents did not allow such an act of abuse of the nature reigning here.

The city administration supported the Voronezh residents who defended their rights to rest in an ecologically clean area. Moreover, it was decided to start its improvement without delay. After the development of the reconstruction project, work began on the improvement of the park.

Forest Park "Olympic"

Voronezh is called one of the greenest cities in Russia. But what about in a "green" city without forest parks? On the territory of the Central Administrative District of the city, next to Moskovsky Prospekt (9th kilometer of the Moscow Highway), a real oasis of nature is spread.

Healing pine air, springs with spring water, picturesque banks of the Voronezh reservoir. There are also birches, and poplars, and even oaks. Moreover, such old-timers grow in the forest park, which you rarely see in any forest reserve: a 400-year-old oak, a 300-year-old pine!

The Olympic Forest Park is a well-equipped, ennobled modern vegetation area with neat paths, trails for outdoor enthusiasts and just lovely forest paths for secluded walks.

Park "Dynamo"

All 160 years while it exists, the park managed to change several names. Voronezh residents who lived here in the pre-war years remember it as the Botanik park. In different periods, the park named after Kaganovich and Gorky. Whatever its name, it did not prevent it from being a good area for mass recreation.

Every day, despite the weather, a lively life filled with events was in full swing here. Various thematic exhibitions were organized. Agriculture demonstrated their achievements. Concerts were arranged. The youth enthusiastically danced to the beautiful music of different years performed by the local orchestra or accordion. Various attractions were intended for children - a ferris wheel, a planetarium, a laughter room. In winter, the ski base was opened, and the rest of the time, the autodrome.

Everyone remembers the Green Theatre. A path illuminated by lanterns led to his building with an architectural twist. In a romantic atmosphere, they played a new movie, watched performances by visiting troupes. Spectators were placed directly on the green slope. From those benches of the auditorium, only the foundations remained, today lost in the thickets.

Now it is the Central Park of Culture and Leisure. About the main changes in the park we.

Which park do you like the most? What would you like to see in your favorite park?
